Unstructured data would be data from paper, CAD drawings (.dwg and .dgn) and other files such as PDFs, .doc, photo, video, .mpg, etc.
How will we know if our data will work with the AZIIQ Web Server?
Virtually all kinds of data works with the AZIIQ Web Server. We will ensure this by taking samples of your data for our team of designers to test and configure. If your data is included in our listing of unstructured and structured data, there should be no problems.
How is the AZIIQ Web Server different from GIS?
We approach a project with a database driven perspective. This allows us to use mapping as a tool to manipulate and organize your data in ways that unlock business intelligence. This allows us to be very dynamic. Traditional GIS approach a project with a map driven perspective. This approach hardwires data into layers on a map, cementing them together. This is why traditional GIS is typically quite rigid.
What parts of my business could the AZIIQ Web Server improve?
AZIIQ supports a wide variety of uses and will improve any use of data where location matters. It can improve and increase efficiencies in project management, scheculing and deadlines, emergency response, property management, facilities management, production, maintenance, sales, and marketing. Improvements can be seen in virtually every department.
When would I want to use corkboarding?
Corkboarding allows you to organize, designate and search data by location and text. Simply place pins on a map and associate any type of information with that location. This will put your company’s information onto a virtual corkboard system that will increase your efficiency by allowing you to locate information faster.
Can we use corkboarding with teams?
Each of your team members has had unique experiences. These experiences and the information learned is often unknown to the rest of the team. Corkboarding will help you share the unique information and promote your business objectives. Corkboarding allows your corporate community to communicate through their browsers. Corkboarding allows each team member to add their location specific knowledge and contribute to the team effort.

How can tactical mapping help my business?
In today’s climate, you have to approach business decisions proactively rather than reactively. Tactical mapping provides you with a multidimensional view of complex projects, allowing to you visualize activities to best support your business objectives. You can track and manage projects directly rather than wait to respond to updates and reports. Tactical mapping may eliminate the need for telephone tag, telephone conversations and/or email.
Why does tactical mapping speed up my project completion?
Every person involved in a project has his/her part to play. Tactical mapping helps every player concentrate on their particular part. You know when and where you are to do your part. You will no longer depend on calls and emails to get updates and status reports on projects. You will be able to make faster and more well informed decisions.
What will the CAD Ripper do for my CAD Department?
The CAD Ripper saves you an enormous amount of time and money by electronically reading, cataloging and filing your CAD drawings. The drawings become searchable by natural language and definable design elements, making retrieval easy.
What is map painting?
We paint your information onto the map rather than imbedding it into the map. This makes us able to handle data in a more dynamic way than traditional GIS system. Map painting occurs when your data is displayed through visual elements, such as heat scales and traffic lights onto a map.
What's the difference between dashboards/traffic lights/heat scales?
Each of these visualization tools will give you answers to predefined questions. A dashboard will give you a quick summary. Traffic lights will give you a fast way to see those Yes/No/Undetermined type answers on specific points on your map. Heat scales will paint a range across your selected map area, much like how temperature would be displayed on a map.
Why would I care about Dynamic Data Integration?
This is how relationships are formed between your data and the map based output. This is a high speed way to integrate legacy data and maintain updates into your map. Unlike GIS, we don’t embed your data into a map so changes are quick and easy. We associate your data with reference points and allow the data to be expressed on the map for easy translation and viewing.
What can I customize in the AZIIQ Web Server?
We will configure and customize the software for you before you get started. First, we will configure the application to collect and display the data that’s most critical to your business needs. This will set up themes, data points and business intelligence. Second, branding elements may also be customized to make the software meet your needs aesthetically – colors, icons, logos. Once installed, your administrator will have all the power to change and additionally customize the application as desired as your needs change. Additional customization is also something that we can help you with.
What database does the AZIIQ Web Server use?
We work any ODBC and/or ADO compatible database.
What makes a map better than a graph?
Graphs allow you to put value on your data in a comparative view; monthly revenue, production, goal to actual ratio. Maps add additional contextual value to your data: location. This location information adds a business intelligence component for relevance, trends and opportunities.
Why is Business Intelligence important?

Through the AZIIQ Web Server, we give you the tools to accomplish this process more easily than ever before. You are able to “pre-ask” the questions and find the answers with one click of the mouse.
What is the difference between a flash report and a visual flash report?

The visual flash report takes this information one step further and provides a visually enhanced view for faster recognition and translation.
